When I heard this song it really did make me quote Owen Wilson… WOW!
Wow; that’s the first impression this track gives. The first note instantly takes you to a sunset on a warm beach, the fire is burning, the friends are laughing and this track is the one that binds it all together.
‘Taste’ is beautiful, it’s a reminder of a time gone by with the video giving much recognition to that with retro wardrobes and even cinematography reminiscent of a Quentin Tarantino scene set at a time much revered and immortalised.
The songs name is rather ironic giving the timing of its release and yet perfectly appropriate. On both sides of the same coin it gives us a ‘Taste’ (get it) of a summer and spring we all missed out on. It’s amazing from start to finish and the video fits the vibe completely. Summer anthem as far as I’m confirmed.
