Liam Hillyer – The Ballad of Me and Thee

Release Date – 3rd December 2020

Words: Dan Smith

You can hear the influences of Noel Gallagher and Oasis prominently in this track. The bolshy, huge vocals in this track stand out for me, alongside the cracking guitar riffs Liam has produced. ‘The Ballad of Me and Thee’ is a massive track, for all you rock and roll fans, showing that it is in-fact not finished.

What else can I say? This is just a rocking track from Liam Hillyer who has had a stellar year as an artist, surpassing 30,000 streams on Spotify and it’s clear to see why. Building on his fantastic tracks ‘Marquee’ and ‘This Town’, Liam really reminds me of early 2000’s rock, fans of the likes of The Enemy and Kaiser Chiefs will adore this lad.
