The Pretty Visitors – Head in the Sand

Release Date – 19th November 2020

Words: Charlie Kempen

The Pretty Visitors are an unsigned indie rock band from the South Coast of the UK. They had a very
impressive year last year as they released four demos which featured on BBC introducing and played
some impressive headline shoes as well as playing supporting slots for the likes of Circa Waves and
Sisteray. This year saw the release of their first studio single – ‘Mystery Woman’ which received its
first plays on BBC Introducing, The Chris Moyles Show and This Morning.

Overall, they have had a very impressive start. November 20th sees the release of their latest single ‘Head in the Sand’. ‘Head in the Sand’ is a fight against a monotonous life with an extremely catchy chorus. The angsty tune sounds like a mix between The Streets and Kasabian – an interesting mix. The struggles of a tedious and repetitive life is one that many struggle with on a daily basis which allows this track to resonate with a wider audience.
