The Struts – Strange Days

Release Date – 26th September 2020

Words: Charlie Kempen

With a reputable body of work with tracks such as ‘Body Talks’ and ‘Could Have Been Me’, I had quite high expectations for the new single and was not let down. First performed on Soccer Aid this year, the band performed with a hologram version of Robbie Williams. ‘Strange Days’ is the title track from their upcoming album which interestingly features Tom Morello and members of Def Leppard.

Spiller’s unmissable style and vocal range make for incredible entertainment. Not to forget his fantastic showmanship which makes it hard not to question whether he is a direct descendant of the late, great Freddie Mercury. This song serves as the anthem for now, with a core message that is perfect for what I’m sure we’ve all been feeling this year. I am incredibly excited to hear their new album, which is out on October 16th.
