We Wander is a female-fronted indie-alternative band from Mississauga, Canada. They formed back in 2017 and have since been combining elements of acoustic folk and modern alternative music to create their sound. The band is made up of Maddy on vocals and acoustic guitar, Camilo Martinez on bass, Jacob Rondeau on drums and Christian Orozco on violin.
Their new single ‘Pouring Out’ is an indie sounding folk song, that is about when a person’s feelings end up ‘Pouring Out’ of them emotionally as they can’t keep their feelings to themselves any longer, no matter how hard they try. It is an emotional song and is one that I feel as though a lot of people will be able to relate to.
In this track, there are lyrics such as “These thoughts of mine keep making a sound and I can’t see to tie them down” and “Don’t think out loud, I know, I know”. This talks about when emotions get the better of us and we can’t bear to keep them in any longer even though we are trying our best to. This can be the reality for a lot of people and so would be a relatable song for a lot of people including myself.
