Let’s Dance to Joy Division – The Wombats

This weeks throwback is the classic ‘Let’s Dance to Joy Division’ by The Wombats.

Since it’s release it’s been a staple in clubs, at festivals and personal playlists all over the world. A crowd favourite in indie clubs up and down the country, especially Liverpool. 

With June 21st looming ever closer and the chance to be able to go out and cavort with friends again, this is the perfect song to get you riled up and excited for this whole pandemic to be over. The song sums up how most of us are feeling right now. Times are depressing and frustrating but everyone seems to be doing their bit to keep spirits high.

‘Everything is going wrong, but we’re so happy’. Too right. If you’re feeling down at the moment, stick this on your stereo and look towards the future. It’s going to get better very soon, just sit tight and relax!
