The Fiasco – Played Me at My Own Game

Release Date – 24th February 2021

Words: Louis Upton-Wheeler

Their latest single screams out feel good and head banging with its explosive drum part and heavy guitars. The four piece group have taken serious inspiration from their many 00s influences such as New Found Glory, All Time Low, The Offspring and You Me At Six, and I think it is safe to say that they have their sound and style completely on point.

The happy sad feeling of the song and its anthemic chorus, with sing along group vocals, scream out energy and excitement and clearly show that this group is gearing up to hit the performing road with force. This single is the band’s first release since 2019, and they have been working hard promoting it and keeping in contact with their audience with single release live streams and streamed gigs on their Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok platforms. The band look forward to grabbing the attention of the peers over the coming year with their new music but also hoping to share the stage with many of their musical idols.
