The guitar and vocals combined creates a powerful and moving track, something l think people of all generations and genres can appreciate. Sam Lambeth has really hit it well, trying something slightly slower paced, and creating powerful lyrics that compete with the likes of lyrical genius’ Ed Sheeran and James Blunt.
His voice is strong, yet effortless, and the lyrics echo pleasantly throughout ‘When I’m With You’. The ease of his voice makes you feel connected and at home, when you listen you can feel the calmness of the lyrics ‘When I’m with you, l don’t care.’ If you’re searching for a beautifully crafted and thought-provoking love song, l can guarantee you should look no further than this.
The smooth transition into the chorus has been done expertly and you can really see the talent Sam Lambeth has as a songwriter. If this isn’t enough of a reason for you to check out his music, then his charitable nature will entice you in, with him donating money from his recent single to WWF and planting trees alongside his streaming milestone of 23,000 for his single ‘The King’.
l can see many more of Sam’s singles making their way into my playlist, and I will be watching for his future successes, as his music career will no doubt flourish.
