Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes Release Their Catchiest Chorus to Date with ‘Sticky’

RELEASE DATE: 4th July 2021

Words – Kim Holder

Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes are an English punk rock bank from Hertfordshire. Their band is made up of Frank Carter (vocals), Dean Richardson (Guitar), Tom “Tank” Barclay (Bass, keys, synth and backing vocals) and Gareth Grover (drums). They are known for their ability to give a fantastic show at gigs and are making a name for themselves with new releases. ‘Sticky’ is the latest release from Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes. It is a track that has a sad theme running through it, however, in sticking to their genre it is upbeat and gritty like the majority of punk rock songs.

“Singing why oh why can I not cry? Even though I want too” is my favourite lyric from this song. This refers to feeling like you need to cry but you just can’t and is a powerful lyric to me and is something people can relate to. Everyone has some point had the feeling of being numb and just not being able to cry.

I really love this track, it follows the theme of the bands past releases and is the reason why I love
them. They truly do punk rock well and this song is no exception with it’s catchy chorus. Frank’s vocals sound great and I will be listening to this track for a long time.

I would highly recommend everyone to give this track a listen. If you are a punk rock fan then you are sure to love this one. This band is sure to gain a larger following with these kind of releases. So go and give it a listen now!
