For fans of Jamie T, The Streets and Fat Boy Slim, ‘Turn To Dust’ brings in the punchy 90’s inspired bass and keyboard chords blended with a modern, boomy drum beat, ultimately providing a hell of an instrumental. The genre fluid track provides bolshy lyricism in this coming of age belter.

The captivating vocals really do have you enthralled in every verse. Featuring CM Swiggy as well, the whole song just brings you in and has you hooked on every word. The catchy melody in the backing on top of this as well? Cracking.

I saw a performance of Mike Skinner of The Streets over the weekend and this track reminds me of a young, ‘Original Pirate Material’ Mike Skinner, although based on the track ‘Turn To Dust’ I would argue deja vu has more potential than the Londoner.
