Jonny Ash, consisting of brother Dan (Bass) & Callum (Frontman) Gaughran, Peter Roberts (Lead Guitar) and Mike Jones (Drummer) add to their existing singles ‘We Are The People’ and ‘Boys With Black Eyes’ with ‘Disco’. Bringing an electrifying, high energy performance wherever they go, the young band, who formed in 2021, have already supported the likes of Shaun Ryder (Happy Monday’s) and The Sherlocks, as well as playing shows with popular music promotors This Feeling.
Starting 2022 as they mean to go on, their new track ‘Disco’, released 11th February 2022, is available now on all streaming services. A crowd favourite due to its pulsating riffs and high disco energy, Peter stated “it’s our favourite song to play live and we hope you love it as much as we do.”
Delving into the track, ‘Disco’ uses a BPM synonymous of classic disco tunes, allowing the listener to really fall in line with the beat of the track! I’d be lying if I said this isn’t a toe tapper and I can see clearly why this ends the set for a Jonny Ash gig, leaving the crowd hungry for more.
2022 will be a big year for the Wrexham Wally’s and if I were you, I’d get on these sooner rather than later, because mark my words, Johnny Ash are destined for greatness.
