The Madisons are a Sheffield based 5-piece who have recently being making waves, with their headline show in the Leadmill small room selling out to hundreds of people.
Formed in late 2020 when guitarist Louis Fleming met bassist Archie Brook at a party in Sheffield, they decided to form a band, with Archie bringing in singer Lewis Taylor and drummer Alex Whitaker. Louis brought in his twin brother Isaac to complete the lineup.
Bassist Archie Brooks is the bands mouth-piece for today’s interview.
Despite only being going 3 years, they have already secured a very loyal fanbase in the Steel City and today we discuss how they plan on broadening their horizons into the rest of the UK.
Finally, we discuss the ‘Be Reyt’ Festival drama and why The Madisons have decided not to pull out and are going to be playing the controversial show. This is a topic which has been highly debated over the past few days, and it is refreshing to hear the side of a band who have not followed the rest in dropping out.
