Ryan Redwood – ‘Once Again’

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Once Again – Release Date: 24th February 2023

Why is it every time I ask for a song to review I end up like this? Eagerly typing about a track I’ve listened to more than I care to admit ‘Once Again’?

For those of you who are unfamiliar with up and comer Ryan Redwood first off, what are you playing at? Give your head a wobble! He and producer Sam Wilson and starting something special between them.

Secondly, Ryan here is no strangers to pushing the boundaries and creating something special. Taking inspiration from some of the biggest names in the game with Catfish And The Bottlemen, Arctic Monkeys and Blossoms being a few. British Indie won’t be dying anytime soon and I for one am thankful for that.

Using his latent ability to have the confidence to experiment on his previous track ‘All Said And Done’ (cracking tune as well by the way, give it a listen… you’ll love it), Ryan learnt how to better define himself within the industry and brought even higher levels ‘Once Again’ which is pretty impressive when ‘All Said And Done’ considering it’s only his 5th release.

Overall it’s a very strong track by a talented and clearly hardworking individual, worthy of the title standalone single. Without backup it holds it own and paves the way for an EP my sources tell me might be on the way… make sure to be on the lookout for that.

I would have given it 6 stars but the bloody thing ends! My only complaint.
