Irish artist Nell Mescal has released her highly anticipated debut EP, ‘Can I Miss It
For A Minute?’ to tremendous acclaim. This EP takes listeners on a moving journey
through emotional landscapes and firsthand experiences.
The EP’s release follows an amazing year for Nell Mescal, who sold out her first UK
tour in January and played an impressive number of shows. She also supported a
number of artists, including HAIM, Florence & The Machine, Dermot Kennedy, and
The Last Dinner Party, and appeared on festival stages like Latitude, All Point East,
Kendall Calling, and Electric Picnic.
Nell Mescal is lost in the past on the first track of the EP, ‘Warm Body,’ as the
calming melodies long for a moment of serenity. With a yearning for stability and
understanding, the song delves deeply into the nuances of relationships and the
challenges of growing up.
‘Yellow Dresser’ is a beautifully composed and crafted track, which encapsulates
Nell Mescal’s sound perfectly. It is powerful and emotive. Mescal seems to have this
