Formed in 2024, The Harbours are an exciting new indie-pop band consisting of lead vocalist Ollie Drakard, and lead guitarist Will Massarella-Tyler. Coming from three years of playing locally at university, the new band has already gained a loyal following for themselves due to their unique blend of modern indie music and classic pop.
Following on from their sound defining debut single ‘Out Of Sight’ in April, The Harbours have recently released their second single ‘So Sweet’ in early June hoping to continue their impressive introduction.

Managing to personify that magical feeling of youthful romance and carefree summers ‘So Sweet’ is an incredibly uplifting song packed full of dance-along vibes and a positively feel-good atmosphere. With an infectious earworm of a chorus combined with oh-so-groovy verses, ‘So Sweet’ has elements of a more poppy sounding Martha (one of my favourite bands) and is a brilliant addition to their already promising run of form.
With ‘So Sweet’ The Harbours manage to nail that sweet spot that lies right between indie and pop music, providing an immensely fun song that conjures up those beautifully sweet memories of the past. With two great singles now under their belt, The Harbours are truly a band to keep an eye on.
