With their new single ‘Two Sips’, Revivalry have returned with their second single.
Revivalry are a 3-piece band from Grimsby who take influences from the likes of
Arctic monkeys and the Reytons.
‘Two Sips’ by Revivalry is a captivating song that blends alternative rock with some indie folk elements, creating an immersive and addictive sound. From the opening
guitar riffs orchestrate a contemplative tone, till gradually the bass and drums kick
in, creating a well rounded and thought provoking atmosphere. Lyrically, ‘Two Sips’ perfectly explores the theme of seeking temporary relief and emotional turmoil, through the duration of the song they refer to taking ‘Two Sips’ and ‘Another one’, to numb the feeling till he eventually passes out, perfectly capturing the vulnerability of drinking. The production of the song has a natural but smooth feel, with each instrument contributing equally toward creating a mood for the song. With the electric guitar fabricating a sense of tension while the drums and bass giving it a forward momentum.
After taking the throne of being the youngest band to play on the main stage at
Kendal Calling, Revivalry will only go up. After an already busy summer playing at
the likes of Tramlines Fringe, Kendal Calling and Humber Street Sesh, they are yet take
the stage at Victorious, Camper Calling and Garistonbury. Make sure to stream ‘Two Sips’ now and catch Revivalry before they’re huge!
