Spectacular Crowd Involvement: Gerry Cinnamon At Reading Festival Review

Words: Ben Kelly

Before Gerry Cinnamon even started off his set on the Friday of Reading Festival, he knew how to hype up the crowd, playing very well known sing alongs such as ‘Sweet Caroline’ and ‘Give It Up’ before he came on stage.

Throughout the set he provided a great level of energy from start to finish with a great setlist to match it. The setlist contained all his classics from the Erratic Cinematic album to The Bonny. He even performed ‘Sacred’ which has never been properly released except from during his live performance at Hampden Park released last year but it is definitely one to look forward to.

With a mix of smoke cannons, confetti cannons and fire effects this was easily one of my personal favourite sets of the whole weekend. If you haven’t already had the
chance to see this man live it is definitely something you need to experience.
Considering this is his first summer performing after 2 years off he has not lost his
voice one bit, and it was still absolutely incredible.

What’s next for Gerry? Will we be seeing a new album release or finally get a tour? Who knows, but whatever it is, we hope we get it soon!
