What a way to start the weekend this was, in what was the first set of the weekend
for me, I was off to see Seb Lowe who I am personally a very big fan of. Seeing him twice prior to this, I have loved seeing Seb and his band just get better and better each time. This set was no exception and still continued to blow me away with his and the band’s talent.
Unfortunately I missed the first couple songs of the set but luckily managed to catch the newly released song ‘Mr and Mrs Human Race’ which involves both Seb himself and the band’s Violinist Katie Couriel on the vocals. This is the first release by Seb Lowe which has involved Katie Couriel on vocals and it definitely should not be the last, proving them to be a great duo.
At just 20 years old, Seb Lowe is proving to be a great young artist with a lot to come, and this will not be his last time gracing the main stage at Reading and Leeds. Despite being a shorter set due to being one of the earlier acts of the weekend they still managed to fit in a great mix of songs traditionally closing off by transitioning perfectly from the band introductions into ‘Terms and Conditions’. If you’re yet to listen to Seb Lowe do not waste anymore time in doing so, with a great mix of vocals and instrumentals – you will not be disappointed.
