She’s one of the most talented upcoming artists out there right now, and with the announcement of her headline tour, Brooke Combe is set to dominate the national music scene. It’s already shaping up to be an exciting year for Combe, alongside this tour announcement, her debut album, ‘Dancing at The Edge Of The World’, is set for release on the 31st of January. The 14th of April is the date set for her biggest homecoming show to date, and no better place to have it than at Glasgow’s Barrowland!
Allow me to give you a bit more insight into the singer – songwriter. Brooke Combe is a Scottish musician who is transforming soul, injecting an intensity into the UK music scene. Combe has supported the likes of The Lathums, The Coral and Miles Kane, as well as being announced as a special guest for Manchester’s NBHD Festival.
Combe has become renowned captivating live shows, the singer will kick off the eight date run at Norwich Arts Centre on April 4th, finishing with her largest headline show to date at Glasgow’s Barrowland on Saturday April 19th.
Working with producer and musician James Skelly, who is best known for being the front man of The Coral, Combe’s debut album, ‘Dancing At The Edge Of The World’, is the ideal way to make an impression and gives listeners a tantalising glimpse of the artist she will grow into. It features a voice that sounds like it might have sprung straight out of Motown, lavish orchestral arrangements, and enticing rhythms, all of which are reminiscent of Michael Kiwanuka and Corinne Bailey Rae’s early releases.
