Ahead of his first album ‘Be Lucky’ set to be releasing on February 14th, Louis Dunford treated his fans by releasing his 6th song from the album and what an incredible song and story this is. Louis Dunford does an incredible job at presenting his previous life events within his songs, really helping his supporters to relate to these stories with his latest release being no exception.
The new single ‘Queer’ follows the story of one of his childhood friends with a father described as a ‘monster’ by Louis who was very unaccepting and abusive towards his friend. It follows the views of Louis seeing this happen to his friend and seeing how much this was hurting him both physically and mentally really helping to create an awareness around this situation and any similar situations still going on.
The emotion is shown by a sorrowful instrumental in the background throughout the song, with a piano being used to introduce the song also backed by Louis Dunford’s incredible vocals. This soundtrack really helps to create a sad and mellow atmosphere around the song for anyone listening making people think about the situation being spoke about within the single.
If these first 6 songs are anything to off, we really are in for a treat when this new album is released. Louis is an outstanding artist with a lot of good things ahead of him to come. With a big 15 date Uk tour coming in March this is going to be a great way for him to really show his talent including his biggest show yet at Alexandra Palace also being involved within this tour.
He has also got an acoustic tour coming up in February to line up with the release of his new album playing a range of record shops and other more intimate venues which I will also be attending.
Will you be attending any of these shows?
