Acrylic, a four-piece band from Liverpool, are back with ‘Mess I’ve Made,’ the second track from their upcoming debut EP. With this song, the band has gained widespread attention and was named the Indie Track Of The Week on In Demand Radio. ‘Mess I’ve Made’ is replete with their influences, including Van McCann’s gritty vocals, The Vaccines’ upbeat guitar rhythms, The Killers’ edge, and Kasabian’s powerful choruses.
The feel-good indie sound is perfectly captured in ‘Mess I’ve Made.’ It has pulsating drum beats, racing guitar riffs, and rugged vocals that will hook you right away. It has everything you could possibly want in an indie sing-along hit. Acrylic have done a remarkable job creating this athematic track; the chorus’s stop-start effect adds drama and excitement. They’ve crafted this incredibly strong chorus that is destined to be sung by thousands of people.
You might be shocked to learn that this was only the second single from their debut EP. You wouldn’t be mistaken in thinking that they might be a band about to release their third album because their sound and musicality are already so well-established and polished. It’s encouraging to see people in this field who are secure in their sound and appearance, like Acrylic.
Acrylic are set for national success with their upcoming EP. The band are set to launch the EP with an intimate performance in Liverpool’s iconic Zanzibar. Other incredible artists such as Sam Millne & The Virants, Foam Over and Arid State are set to provide support for this night of celebration.
