Happy ‘Tune In’ day to you all, the past few weeks have been jam packed with announcements, new releases and exciting tour dates! Don’t worry if you’ve missed anything, that’s what I’m here for. So get yourselves comfortable as I walk you through what’s been going on this week!
Inhaler Release ‘Open Wide’
For a band on their third album, you wouldn’t be mistaken if you were expecting Indie bangers and rock hits from Inhaler’s ‘Open Wide’. With this new album, the Dublin four-piece have completely reinvented themselves, bringing pop hits and 70s chic back to the contemporary music scene.
Inhaler have also embarked on their UK tour this week already completing stops in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Nottingham! Although the tour is practically sold out, there’s still a handful of tickets available for select dates. Get yourselves down you will not be disappointed!
Black Sabbath announce ‘The Final Show’
Black Sabbath has revealed that Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, and others will support them for their very last live performance, which will take place in Birmingham. The band’s legendary lineup, which includes frontman Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward, will perform live together for the first time in twenty years at the event, which is scheduled for July 5.
In a new statement surrounding the news, Ozzy stated; “It’s my time to go Back To The Beginning… time for me to give back to the place where I was born, how blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love? Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
Sam Fender announced as Record Store Day Official Ambassador
The 18th iteration of the annual event, the RSD, is scheduled for this Saturday, April 12. In the UK, more than 270 independent record stores will be ready to receive a fresh round of vinyl albums. There will also be a celebration of independent record store culture and a number of in-store events, as is typical.
Fender will be an official ambassador of RSD ’25. He is scheduled to release his third album, ‘People Watching,’ later this month. Like Taylor Swift, Kate Bush, The 1975, Noel Gallagher, and Elton John, he also plays the part. This year’s edition will see the publication of a unique vinyl EP by him that includes two new tracks.
The K’s Release ‘Breakdown In My Bedroom’
The K’s have released “‘In My Bedroom,’ the album’s first single, ahead of their June release of the new album ‘Pretty On The Internet.’ ‘Breakdown In My Bedroom’ examines the feeling of being trapped inside your own thoughts, conflicted between the yearning to get out and the will to persevere.
The perfect way to launch the new album is with a lively, indie mood and honest, sensitive lyrics. The K’s are on the rise, and I’m excited to see what else lies ahead!

I’ve curated a Spotify playlist that combines all the tracks I love with new music that stands out to me! I am constantly adding and improving, so make sure you check it out!
