On February 13th, Atticus Roness released his latest single ‘Why’ produced by Caleb
Heiple and co written with Stephen Grubb.
This a high energy, mood lifting tune providing a mixture of 70s pop and alternative
rock exploring the concept of blissful ignorance and the freedom allowed by staying
in one’s lane.
Any fans of bands such as The 1975 and The Strokes will love this new track and
Atticus Roness as a whole reflecting a very similar sound to the bands. This track
features a range of different instruments with a beautiful guitar melody sticking out
throughout.
When asked ‘why is the pop song on the record’ Atticus replied ‘its everything I was
raised on musically and more, it’s a great example of less is more, with its short run
time and ‘to-the-point’ lyrical content. It’s sure to get stuck in anyone’s head, and I’m
more than proud of it’.
I’m sure many others will join me in saying I have not been able to get this tune out
of my head with extremely catchy lyrics and tune bound to get your head bopping
along to the beat.
Overall this is a great release from Atticus Ronnes, and is definitely an artist you
need to look out for, with still so much to come your definitely going to want to keep
up.
