The K’s @ Roundhouse London – Live Review

Words: Ben Kelly

In light of announcing their new album ‘Pretty On The Internet’, releasing at the end of June,
The K’s embarked on an 11 date UK & Ireland tour with a mixture of acts supporting the band
throughout the dates.

As part of the tour, it was time for the band to play their London date at the famous
Roundhouse in Camden. This date was supported by the two brilliant bands, Day We Ran
and The Bracknall who both put on two great sets hyping up the crowd ready for the main
event of the night.

It was now time for the uprising superstars, The K’s to make way to the stage for what was
going to be a night of incredible atmosphere and fun. Kicking off with one of the new hits
from the upcoming album ‘Gravestone’ after a snippet from ‘Icarus’ being teased just before.

This was an amazing intro for the band, getting the crowd jumping and looking forward to
what the band had in store for the rest of the night.

As the night went on they continued to play a range of songs from their biggest hits to newly
released songs and a mixture of upbeat and mellow tunes which gave a mixture of
everything for the crowd.

After being requested throughout the whole gig from start to finish by the crowd, the band
closed off with the much anticipated, ‘Dacton & Wanderella’ to complete a fantastic set by a
fantastic band.

This is just the start of a very exciting career for The K’s and it is something we are all excited
for and will be following closely.

What is next for the band after the release of their second album?
